GINGER AND PICKLES' VILLAGE SHOP[]
Ginger and Pickles is a little small shop just the right size for Dolls—Lucinda and Jane Doll-cook always buy their groceries at Ginger and Pickles. The counter inside is a convenient height for rabbits. Ginger and Pickles sell red spotty pocket-handkerchiefs at a penny three farthings. They also sell sugar, and snuff and galoshes. In fact, although it's such a small shop it sells nearly everything—except a few things that you want in a hurry—like bootlaces, hair-pins and mutton chops.
Peter Rabbit and his friends always buy their groceries at Ginger and Pickles.
Ginger and Pickles' Shop
GINGER[]
Ginger is a yellow tom-cat. In the books, and in the Nick Jr. TV Series, he appears very friendly and confident and happy.
PICKLES[]
Pickles is a terrier. In the books, he appears friendly, but timid and worried. Although in the Nick Jr. TV Series, he is nice but grouchy and grumpy.
